how to reach us · the first answers
Write to support@cherryoutside.com. We read every one, and answer. Tell us the screen, the place and the time, and a screenshot if you have one; nothing in the app can send us anything on its own.
Every figure is an agency's own, shown with its time and its name. Tap the source word on the row for that agency's page. A gauge can fail, a forecast can be wrong, and a station can fall silent; the app shows what was published and says when. If the app shows something the agency did not publish, that is ours to fix — tell us.
Everything. The list follows the map, and you choose the place. Location only opens the map beside you, corrects the compass and records tracks.
Nothing is published for the past hours of a forecast, so the app does not invent them. WEATHER plays now and forward; the past hour's measured readings show in the ledger where a station measured them.
The National Weather Service, Environment Canada and the other agencies named on the alert. The river stage badge on a scene is the app's general warning; a government alert is the priority and is always shown when one is in force.
The speaker mark reads the page now. READ ON OPEN reads WEATHER when it opens and reads a new alert when one is issued while the app is open. Sounds in Prefs turn every sound off.
A trip you KEEP holds its places' data on the phone for its days, fetched while you watch. Washington's trails, ski runs, Nordic trails and public land ship with the app and work with no signal at all. The only thing that runs in the background is a track you are recording, until you press STOP.
Cherry Outside is sold on the App Store, at the price and on the terms shown there. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple Account.
